Development Director
Brockton Day Nursery, a large non-profit child care facility, is seeking a development professional to join our administrative team.
The successful candidate holds a degree in
education, public relations, marketing, business, or related field. Extensive development experience, particularly in an education or family services organization preferred. Excellent public relations and writing skills required.
Primary responsibilities include:
- working with administrative staff and
board to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan
- researching
funding sources and writing proposals for grants
- coordinating special
events
- nurturing positive working relationships with businesses, community
leaders, agencies, and public officials
- creating and distributing solicitation
and marketing materials
- identifying and nurturing relationships with potential
corporate and individual donors
- performing other duties as needed to support
the continued growth of the Brockton Day Nursery
